Shortly after this picture was taken, we took Ryan to "The Barbers" for his first haircut. He did not like it. He liked his second haircut even less, and by his third cut, the tears started rolling before the scissors went to work. Fortunately, an experienced hair cutter--and grandma--suggested we give him a small lollipop before the cut. That made all the difference. He really concentrated on that sucker and the tears stopped. Now when he is on the way to the barber, he talks about the upcoming treat. He doesn't cry anymore.
